Karate club is well represented

Germiston’s Kaizen Judo Club was represented by eight of its members at the South African Judo Open Championships, in Stellenbosch, in the Cape, recently.

The local judokas also represented the Ekurhuleni Judo Association at the championships and four of the fighters won medals.

Neil Robb won a gold medal in the master’s category and Chrystal Acton won a gold medal in the pre-cadets category (12-14 years).

Kayla Kruger received a silver medal in the cadets’ category (15-17 years) and Caitlin Croucamp received a silver medal in the pre-cadets category (12-14 years).
