A woman was killed on Friday, allegedly by her father, during an argument in the Kwanele Section of Katlehong.
The 21-year-woman was declared dead on scene by paramedics after allegedly being fatally shot by her father.
“It is alleged that the two had argued after the daughter brought her boyfriend to the house, despite her father telling her not to,” Capt Mega Ndobe, communications officer for the Katlehong SAPS, explained.
“During the altercation the 63-year-old man allegedly pulled out his licensed firearm and shot his daughter.”
The man was arrested by the Katlehong SAPS and will appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court soon.
