EMPD officers nab drug dealer in Primrose

Man caught in the act of selling drugs.

While doing routine patrols in the Primrose area, members of the EMPD Germiston Crime Prevention Unit recently witnessed a man making suspicious exchanges with several individuals.

When the man was confronted, the officers found drugs in his possession.

The suspect was arrested and charged with possession of and dealing in illicit substances.

The arrest took place at 9.30am on Saturday, June 27, at Camelot Village in Primrose.

The 20-year-old Nigerian suspect was found with the drugs crystal meth and Kat, valued at approximately R3 000.

The docket was registered at the Primrose Police Station and the man was expected to appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court on June 29 to face charges of possession of and dealing in drugs.
