Dog poisoners hit Mimosa Park — 16 dogs poisoned in two weeks

More dog poisonings in the city.

Mimosa Park is currently being hit by dog poisoners.

According to Elsburg CPF Sector One public relations officer Theresa Venter, 16 dogs have been poisoned in the area in a period of two weeks.

In the latest incident, which took place between 1am and 3am on May 15, in Kock Street, 11 dogs were poisoned and only one survived.

Two motorcycles were taken during the incident, namely a black BMW 1150R and a black, red and white Go Moto.

“With the break-ins in Mimosa Park they poison all the dogs in the street,” said Venter.

“In the latest incident, Elsburg CPF members were the first to arrive on the scene and to secure it.

“The Elsburg CPF Sector One patrollers are warning the community to be alert and to report any suspicious-looking people or activities in their area.”
