Help people displaced by attacks

Lend a helping hand.

“I’m hoping that you can help me to assist with the crisis our province is facing at the moment,” urged Tamarin Biddulph-Smith.

Tamarin has joined forces with the Primrose Methodist Church and is hoping to help the people displaced by xenophobic attacks.

“People are being kept safe, but they do need our help,” she said.

The community is urged to donate clothes, children’s clothes, baby clothes, blankets, pillows, baby food, non-perishable foods and toiletries, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, towels, toilet paper, nappies and sanitary towels.

Donations can be dropped off at either the Primrose Methodist Church, 28 Poppy Road, Primrose, or at the Bearded Woman Tattoo Parlour, 117 Langermann Drive, Kensington South.

“I’m urging everyone to either help in this cause or in their own areas.

“Please spread the word, let’s unite and stop xenophobia,” concluded Tamarin.
