The leaders of Hoërskool Elsburg made sure this year’s Grade Eight concert was one to remember.

The show was entitled “Hoërskool Zomburg” and was written by the headgirl, Kelly Minnie.

After the death of a beloved Hoërskool Elsburg teacher, the whole school changed into zombies.

The “Zomburgers” took part in everything, from an inter-high meeting to a Valentine’s ball, only things happened a lot slower and at a more “deadly pace” than normal.

At the end of the concert, the beloved teacher eventually comes to rest and the school changes back to the very popular and famous Hoërskool Elsburg.

Audiences said the make-up, costumes and choreography were like something out of a movie and definitely added to the success of the show.

Parents and teachers enjoyed the show immensely and sang the school anthem at the top of their voices.
