Khethiwe Maduna wins Domestic Worker of the Month competition

Local domestic worker is rewarded for her hard work.

Justine Li of Malvern East, wrote the winning motivation for Khethiwe Maduna, to claim her spot as one of the finalists in this year’s “Hirsch’s Germiston Domestic Worker of the Year” competition.

Maduna received a R300 Hirsch’s voucher and a certificate, and was named Hirsch’s Meadowdale Domestic Worker of the Month, for February.

“Khethiwe always looks out for the best interests and safety of our home and family.

“She deserves so much for being so great. She really has a good, loving heart and we are blessed to have her as part of our family,” said Justine.

If you would like to nominate your domestic worker for the monthly competition, send through a 100 word motivation to Brigitte Thysse, the public relations and marketing officer of Hirsch’s Meadowdale, at brigitte@hirschs.co.za.

The monthly winners will each receive a R300 Hirsch’s voucher and a Hirsch’s certificate.

The monthly winners names will then go forward as a finalist for the title Hirsch’s “Germiston Domestic Worker of the Year”, and stand a chance to win a R5 000 Hirsch’s voucher.

Entries are open for the March Domestic Worker of the Month.

Entries close on Wednesday, March 25, at 10am, after which the entries will be judged and the monthly winner contacted.
