Three men found with assortment of stolen goods

Police nab men with stolen property.

Three men, between the ages of 19 and 52, were recently arrested by the Primrose Police for the possession of suspected stolen property.

The arrests were made when officers received a tip-off that someone was selling suspected stolen goods to the community at a low price.

Police traveled to the address in the Makause informal settlement and searched the premises.

During the search officers found TVs, DVD players, gas bottles and a Sony radio.

The homeowners were arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station.

In addition to the charge of possession of stolen property, one of the suspects was charged with housebreaking and theft.

All three men appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where their case was postponed for plea and trial.
