Be on the lookout for these dangerous men

Be careful of fake cops.

The Primrose CPF is warning the public to be alert at all times.

According to Wendy Morgan, from the CPF, there are civilians with no SAPS or EMPD signage on their vehicles, who are patrolling with blue lights.

“These people are impersonating SAPS and EMPD officers,” Morgan said.

“They ask you to get out of your vehicle and then hijack you at gunpoint.

“If you see these men, do not get out of your vehicle; take down the registration number of their car and drive to the nearest police station.”

The CPF is warning people to be on the lookout for the following vehicles, as it is believed their occupants are armed: a white VW Polo; a blue Audi A4 and a blue VW Golf.

“Also, when coming home, please be aware of who is behind you; make sure you are not followed,” said Morgan.

“If you see a vehicle behind you, go around the block and don’t stop in your driveway.

“Know your neighbours so they can come out and be in the street when you get home.”
