Police continue to search for six-year-old Kagiso Mokwena

Kagiso Mokwena has been missing for almost a month.

Six-year-old Kagiso Mokwena is still missing.

The young boy went missing on Friday, January 9, in Katlehong.

It is reported that Mokwena went missing at around midday after it was alleged that an unknown woman called him by name at the park where he was playing with friends.

“At this stage, there are still no developments,” said Capt Augustinah Selepe, from the Gauteng provincial police.

“We are once again pleading with members of the public to assist us, there is no way that no one has no information about the whereabouts of this child.”

Mokwena was last seen wearing brown trousers, a green golf shirt and purple sneakers with yellow laces.

Police are appealing to the public to contact the Katlehong police’s Const Abram Mathibela on 083 964 9866 or 076 356 4058, Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or their nearest police station, if they have any information about the little boy’s whereabouts.
