Tennis lesson at Dinwiddie Sports Club

Dinwiddie Sports Club gave their first official tennis lesson on January 24.

“The players who attended the lessons were already asking about follow-up practise after the first lesson,” said coach Nthato Morakabi.

“We encourage more people to come along and join in this sport.”

Morakabi added that they can use only two courts at the sports club, as the others have surface cracks and need repairs.

“Anybody from as young as five is welcome to join; I extend a free first lesson to all those who are interested and from then on they can decide whether they want to continue with more lessons,” he said.

“The club is on the corner of Ingleton Road and Cheam Crescent, Dinwiddie, and we start from 10.30am to 11.30am, but lessons can be arranged for earlier or later,” Morakabi said.
