Between January 9 and 11, the cluster stations of Katlehong arrested a total of 78 suspects.
The cluster is made up of Dawn Park, Vosloorus, Zonkizizwe, Eden Park, Tokoza, Katlehong North and Katlehong.
The suspects were arrested during stop-and-search operations and were charged with various crimes including, assault, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, robbery, armed robbery, domestic violence, possession of counterfeit money, theft, malicious damage to property, shoplifting, driving under the influence of alcohol, rape, and drug possession.
The suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
