No irrigation may be done in the CoE between 07:00 and 17:00, therefore they advised that neither residents nor businesses irrigate their gardens during these times.

The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) has urged residents to make water conservation a top priority in their everyday lives.

No irrigation may be done in the CoE between 07:00 and 17:00. The CoE advised that neither residents nor businesses irrigate their gardens during these times.

They requested all residents to practice water conservation, providing the following advice:

• Refrain from filling swimming pools until the water supply system has stabilised.

• Do not clean paved areas and driveways with clean drinking water and wash cars using buckets.

• Do not leave your tap running when brushing your teeth.
