Locals urged to join Anything but a Mitt fundraiser
The fun will start early, and participants are encouraged to get creative by using anything (except glass) to catch the ball during the one-hour games.
The Edenvale Giants Baseball Club has invited all sports enthusiasts to get creative and participate in the Anything but a Mitt club fundraiser.

The event on June 25 will be at the JP Bezuidenhout Sports Grounds in Edenvale.
The fun will start early, and participants are encouraged to get creative by using anything (except glass) to catch the ball during the one-hour games.
Popular options include pet carriers, pillowcases, hats and bags.
The entry fees are R10 per player or R250 per team.

There will be great prizes up for grabs, and players and spectators can look forward to excellent food and much laughter.
