Due to be held on February 26, the annual event will be hosted by Rand Road Warriors Edenvale.

This year a portion of the proceeds generated from the fun run will be donated to Cycling Beyond Boundaries and RySky Foundation.

As a charity, Cycling Beyond Boundaries aims to inspire children who are diagnosed with cerebral palsy and other rare diseases to find their purpose and to grow despite the exclusion they may face.

According to the founder of the NPO, Dr Jacqui Bunge, 15-year-old Usiphile Njeje is one such child who will benefit from the funds raised by the race.

Jacqui said Usiphile loves the art of public speaking and always volunteers to make speeches at events and family gatherings.
