AC Milan Football Club defeated K1 Rivals FC 8-3 on May 7, during the opening matches of the Germiston Local Football Association (GLFA) league.

The home side recorded their first win in their 2022/2023 GLFA season.
Prince Rulashe, AC Milan FC chairman, said the kick-off was a bit delayed.
“AC Milan scored five goals in the first half. Lucky Mkhehlane scored two goals and winger Banele Khundla scored a brace and Simphiwe Mdlalose scored the fifth goal,” said Rulashe.
“K1 Rivals scored two goals in the second half. AC Milan FC, picked up the tempo after the two goals and went to score three more goals,” said Rulashe.
