One suspect arrested for murder, kidnapping

One man has been arrested for murder after a body was found in the Good Hope informal settlement recently.

According to Maxwell Mabunda, spokesperson for the Germiston Police Station, detectives Mzizi and Moloto attended the scene after they had received a complaint.

“While at the scene, they asked questions and received information that led them to Extension Nine, where the suspect was apprehended,” said Mabunda.

“Another two suspects are on the run.”

It is alleged the deceased was beaten, as signs of assault were visible.

The suspect was charged with murder and kidnapping.
