Mokwena said the youth is involved in a number of criminal activities that raises concerns about the safety and security of their future.

“We can’t have young people in drug corners or arrested. Together, we can reduce crime rates,” said Mokwena.
He holds a diploma in policing and has received training in handling a hand and shotgun.

Dlamini has an advanced diploma in policing obtained from Tshwane University of Technology. She said she aspired to be a police officer after completing her matric.

“Informal settlements in Primrose need special attention, as we received more domestic complaints from the informal settlements,” said Dlamini.

“I have always wanted to serve and protect. I aspire to one day serve within the ranks of the Hawks. I promise to serve justice and uphold the law. I am dedicated to learning what this journey has for me,” said Dlamini.
