SAPS encourage community members to join the fight against crime

“We encourage the community to report crime when they see it. Together, we can eradicate crime in Germiston if we work together,” said Mabunda.

On March 26, Germiston SAPS and the CPF hosted a crime awareness campaign.

“The purpose was to encourage the community to get involved in fighting crime,” said Germiston SAPS spokesperson Sgt Maxwell Mabunda.

He said it’s important for the community to support the police and work with them.

“We encourage the community to report crime when they see it. Together, we can eradicate crime in Germiston if we work together,” said Mabunda.

Gender-based violence and safety tips leaflets were distributed to motorists at the corner Blackreef and Heartfield roads.
