It was aimed at empowering residents and sensitising them to crime affecting young people.

“Various stakeholders shared tips on how residents can apply for unemployment when vacancies are advertised,” said Sgt Styles Maome, Primrose SAPS corporate communications officer.

Maome also addressed the audience about crime affecting the youth, touched on GBV, hijacking and theft.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Eunice Nzuza, commended community stakeholders involved in their efforts to help the police in the fight against crime and empowering youth in Primrose.

“Together, we can make Primrose a safe place,” she said.
