Purfecto Boogskiet Archery Club took part in the NASP African Virtual Tournament 2021 held at Riverside Curro on December 11 and 12.

Kayleigh van Helden and Michelle Botha excelled at the event.

Van Helden and Botha from Purfecto were chosen for the junior high team and alumni team, respectively, and to be part of the national team.

The tournament was a virtual competition and was held between South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Botswana.

Results
• Van Helden finished seventh in the 3D individual girls’ category and fifth in the bullseye individual girls’ category.
• Botha competed in the 3D individual women’s category, finishing third, and was second overall in the bullseye individual women’s category.
• South Africa ended first, followed by Zimbabwe in second place and Namibia in third.
