DJ Fifty releases second EP titled Mina nawe

On this album he worked with another artist from Germiston, Nox Bee.

Simphiwe Mtshali, known to his fans as DJ Fifty, wants to make his mark in the music industry.

“Music is my first love, and I want to share my music to make others happy,” said DJ Fifty.

The Elandsfontein resident comes from a musical family which inspired him to make music. The gqom music DJ said he wants to introduce gqom with a unique sound. He was not always a gqom artist and started with rap.

His time in Germiston exposed him to different sounds which helped him to grow as an artist.

“Meeting other artist doing different genres and learning new skills helped me to grow as an artist.”

He enjoys sharing his music with people and appreciates honest feedback on his tracks. He released his first track titled Khuzani Umalume featuring Durbanianite Skype T in 2019.

Fast forward to 2021 and the DJ is ready to release his second EP titled Mina nawe with two tracks. On this album, he worked with another artist from Germiston, Nox Bee.
