WATCH: Spring Day at Bowen

Bowen International School learners were wrapped up in the excitement of the warm weather when they celebrated Spring Day on September 4, in Elsiehof.

The principal of the school, Nadia Gaffoor, said learners were excited to be outside after the long winter.

“Everyone was dressed up in bright colours, not forgetting their face masks.

“They enjoyed their life skills activities by doing henna tattoos, face painting, making paper flowers, eating burgers and ice cream.”

Dance Mouse provided the entertainment.

“Since we opened for schooling in June, learners were restricted from doing outdoor physical education (PE) activities due to Covid-19 rules and regulations.

This was the learners’ first day outside in the sun and they enjoyed it so much,” said the principal of the school.
