Germiston SAPS communications officer Const Maxwell Mabunda said the following successful arrests were made for the week:

  • Dealing in liquor – 1
  • Drinking and driving – 1
  • Theft – 2
  • Shoplifting – 3
  • Crimen injuria (impairing the dignity or privacy of another) – 1
  • Intimidation – 1
  • Possession of property suspected to be stolen- 6
  • Grievous bodily harm Assault – 2
  • Possession of Suspected drugs – 1

Mabunda said all 18 suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court the following week.
