Possession of property that is suspected to be stolen is on the rise based on the most recent crime reports from Germiston SAPS.
The report is dated July 31 to August 4.

Germiston SAPS communications officer Const Maxwell Mabunda said the following successful arrests were made for the week:
- Dealing in liquor – 1
- Drinking and driving – 1
- Theft – 2
- Shoplifting – 3
- Crimen injuria (impairing the dignity or privacy of another) – 1
- Intimidation – 1
- Possession of property suspected to be stolen- 6
- Grievous bodily harm Assault – 2
- Possession of Suspected drugs – 1
Mabunda said all 18 suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court the following week.
