Help those in need by racing as your favourite superhero
Run as your favourite superhero as part of the Justice League Virtual Run series
The Justice League Virtual Run Series will once again afford South Africans the opportunity to dress as their favourite superheroes for a good cause.
The virtual run is designed to empower women, men and children from all walks of life and unleash the superhero within.
Superheroes will leave their residences on the same day at the same time and can either run, walk, jog, cycle, push a pram or even crawl.
Participation in these virtual run/walks ensure contributions to beneficiaries such as Headstart Kids.
Relief will be given to people in need.
The more entries, the more food packs and meals can be distributed.
The series also introduced a concept to assist older children by allowing schools across the country to participate as a unit.
Once a school comes on board they are provided with a unique tracking link that their respective school community can use to enter.
On these entries linked to a school the series also provides an additional R10 per entry to the school to assist them with their much-needed fund-raising activities to keep schools and children’s education going during these difficult times.
The first events of the series took place on July 19 (Superman Run) and August 9 (Wonder Woman Run), but there are still three more in which to participate:
• September 6: Aquaman Run
• October 4: Batman Run
• November 8: Flash Run
