Roseacres celebrates nurses on International Nurses’ Day

Life Roseacres Hospital’s nurses received a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

International Nurses’ Day is celebrated annually on May 12.

The day, which is the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, recognises the important role nurses play in society and the contributions they make to quality health care.

Life Roseacres Hospital in Primrose joined in the celebration on Tuesday.

The hospital thanked each of their nurses with a special thank you gift, which included a message from Life Healthcare leadership.

In honour of the day, nurses said the nurses’ pledge as a sign of their commitment to their profession.

“Nurses are the direct touch points to our patients.

“We thank each and every nursing professional who makes life better for those in our care,” said Henriette Pretorius, manager of Life Roseacres Hospital.
