Donate and keep those in need warm this winter

The ANCYL and ANC in Ward 39 and the ANCWL are holding a Winter Donation Campaign to help the needy this winter.

As autumn turns to winter and the temperature begins to drop, many are left cold and vulnerable.

To help bring warmth to those in need the African National Congress Youth League in Ward 39 and ANC Adelaide Tambo Branch in Ward 39, as well as the African National Congress Women’s League have embarked on a winter donation campaign.

“We are calling on all local businesses and individuals to donate to this initiative,” said project coordinator Prince Rulashe.

“Donations of blankets, sleeping bags and winter clothes are welcome.

“The campaign aims to assist the homeless and underprivileged during the colder season.”

“There are many people in need during the winter season,” said Rulashe.

“We call on everybody to assist with the little they can to keep others warm and safe.”
The collection will run until June 1.
