ALERT: Power outage affecting large parts of Germiston

There is a power outage affecting a large portion of the Germiston area.

Ward 36 councillor Wendy Morgan told the GCN that the following areas are affected:

• Primrose up to Pansy Road.

• Primrose Hill.

• Wychwood.

• Creston Hill.

• Dania Park.

• Malvern East.

• Gosforth Park.

• Elandshaven.

• Driehoek.

• Elandsfontein.

• Germiston CBD.

• Driehoek business area.

• Lambton.

• Parkhill Gardens.

• Tedstoneville.

The GCN has requested comment from the metro on the matter.

No estimated time of restoration has been given.

“The matter has been escalated to the energy department,” Morgan said.
