Eagles celebrate mixed bag of results

Elsburg Eagles Cricket Club bowl their way forward in their Easterns Cricket League weekend matches.

The Easterns Cricket League continued last weekend and the Elsburg Eagles Cricket Club continued their campaign with three matches.

The matches were played at the club’s home grounds, the Elsburg Sports Complex last Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

The u-10 team played host to Vosloorus Cricket Club. The seniors hosted Duduza Northerns Cricket Club in the Sunday Directors League and Alberton Cricket Club in the Sunday Presidents League.

“Just as we said our juniors were showing improvement they show us just how much of an improvement by winning their match and playing as a team,” said club chairperson Martiens Grobler, after the u-10 team’s match against Vosloorus.
