Acting on a tip-off from a reliable source members of the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit swooped on a house in Katlehong.
The raid took place at 10.30am recently at a house in Ntanga Street and the drug known as Kat was confiscated.
The 31-year-old male found at the house was handcuffed and taken to the Katlehong Police Station when 11 ziplock bags of Kat valued at R2 200 and R190 in cash were discovered.
He is facing charges of possession of and dealing in an illicit substance.
He is due to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
