Alleged dagga dealer arrested in Elsburg by EMPD officers

Dagga worth R800 discovered during search of man.

Acting on a tip-off from concerned members of the community recently, EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members arrested a suspected dagga supplier in the Elsburg area.

The officers visited Du Pisanie Street, where they searched a 46-year-old man and discovered 13 ziplock bags and one packet of Nik Naks packed with dagga valued at R800.

The suspect was taken to the Elsburg Police Station.

Charges of possession of and possible dealing in dagga were registered against the arrested suspect and he is due to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
