Two men allegedly found with narcotics by members of the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) in Katlehong have been arrested.
The arrest took place on Thursday at 2.30pm and Mandrax tablets and Kat were seized during the routine crime- prevention patrol.

While the officers were patrolling in Nikelo and Simnikile streets, they searched a 44-year-old man and a 53-year-old man and discovered two halves and seven full Mandrax tablets and three ziplock bags of Kat with a street value of R3 000.
The arrested pair was taken to the Katlehong Police Station and charged with possession of and dealing in illicit substances.
They are expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
