Trio take up fund-raising responsibilities for Kinross
SAVF Kinross Herberg fund-raising committee ready to tackle the challenges that lie ahead.
SAVF volunteers Elmarie Botha, Annemarie Berry and Marietjie van der Westhuizen were recently assigned a special task by SAVF Kinross Herberg.
The trio has been charged with assisting with much-needed fund-raising efforts for the home.

“As a registered non-profit welfare organisation Kinross is dependent on fund-raising and donations to add to the limited budget,” said Carmelita de Wet, manager of Kinross.
“Any form of support from the community is, therefore, highly appreciated at Kinross where 73 independent senior citizens are accommodated and their daily needs seen to in a way that enhances their quality of life.”
The new fund-raising committee recently held a meeting at which they committed themselves to the challenge that lies ahead.

“They thanked each and every donor, sponsor and contributor who made a difference in the lives of the residents of Kinross during 2019 and wished each of them a joyful festive season,” said Carmelita.
“The women are also looking forward to the year ahead.”
