Vote for the new Primrose Sector Two CPF committee at AGM

Community members are urged to attend this AGM.

Primrose Sector Two CPF will be holding its AGM.

The meeting will take place on December 5 at 6.30pm at Sunnyridge Primary School.

The community is invited to come along and vote for a new committee.

The Primrose Sector Two CPF committee comprises of a chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary, deputy secretary, treasurer, deputy treasurer, public relations officer, head of patrollers, deputy head of patrollers, community liaison officer, trauma support and one extra member (special projects).

The committee must be elected by the community at the AGM overseen by the Primrose SAPS station commander, a representative of the MEC’s office and an executive committee representative.

The following procedure applies in respect of the election of the new committee:

• Nominations for the members of the sector two committee shall be made on the day of the AGM.

• People will be nominated for each of the above positions.

• Each community member present at the AGM has one vote for each position.

• Any newly elected member to the committee takes office upon closure of the AGM.

• Any outgoing member of the committee must present a handover report to the newly elected member within 15 days of the date of the AGM.

The term of office of elected members of the Primrose Sector Two CPF committee is five years and any member may only be re-elected for one more consecutive term.

“We urge the community of sector two to attend this AGM and have your voice heard,” said Tracy Enslin, chairperson of the Primrose CPF executive committee.

“It is imperative that you as residents vote for who you want as your CPF leadership.”
