Started in August 2015, the restaurant, which recently celebrated its fourth birthday, is situated at Shop 8, Cedar Corner on the corner of First Avenue and Webber Road in Lambton.
Owned by Allan Hage, O Cantinho serves favourites, such as seafood, trinchados, prawns, steaks, espatadas, pregos, pizzas and burgers.
Allan told the GCN the restaurant’s signature dish is the steak casserole, which comprises a 300g rump steak with round fried chips covered in a creamy garlic sauce.
O Cantinho offers a unique dining experience in that the food is good value for money with decent portion sizes.
The restaurant is hygienic with clean restrooms and kitchens.
The vibe, especially when there are sports events, brings an exciting atmosphere to a customer’s dining experience.
Along with this, it is a family-based restaurant with two children’s sections available for the children to play to their hearts’ content.
The restaurant has exciting promotions which include darts competitions, which are free to enter and where patrons can win great prizes.

The winner receives their meal for free, the runner-up receives 20 per cent off their meal and the third place winner receives two free beers or ciders.
O Cantinho can be booked for special functions, for example, birthdays, receptions, and bachelor or bachelorette parties.
There is no charge for venue hire.
In celebration of the Rugby World Cup, the restaurant is running a fantastic special.
Buy a 300g T-bone steak with chips or salad and get a free Heineken draught with your meal for only R99.
The special runs until November 2 and can be redeemed during Rugby World Cup matches.
O Cantinho has happy hour every Friday and Saturday, where if you buy two, you get one free.
The restaurant is open seven days a week, from 10am until late.
The kitchen is open from 11am until 9pm.
