Elderly SAVF residents enjoy bingo morning

Shouts of bingo filled the air at SAVF Die Anker Tehuis last Thursday as residents from Die Anker faced their ‘rivals’ from SAVF Kinross Herberg in some games of bingo.

The enjoyable morning was filled with prizes, which were obtained by June de Villiers, the convener of Die Anker’s bingo group, while SAVF Vanderbijlpark Shelter sponsored treats and chocolates.

“Fun and laughter were the highlights of the morning,” said Martie Otten, SAVF Die Anker manager.

“The event definitely helped build stronger relationships between the residents of both facilities.”
