Man found with dagga in Junction Road

Germiston SAPS apprehended a man for dealing in and possession of dagga.

While on patrol in Junction Road, Driehoek, on Thursday, Germiston SAPS Task Team members noticed a man acting suspiciously. They stopped the 22-year-old man and searched him.

“During the search they found 13 packets of dagga in his pockets,” said Const Maxwell Mabunda, the communications officer for the Germiston police.

“The police then asked the suspect to take them to his home, where they found more dagga.

“He was arrested on a charge of dealing in and possession of dagga.”

The man will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
