Community swimming pools ready for the swimming season

You can take advantage of community swimming pools in your area as the weather warms up.

The metro’s community swimming pools are ready to welcome patrons for the beginning of the swimming season.

The spring/summer season brings with it the need to dip into a crystal-clear pool for a swim.

As such, the metro’s pools have been rehabilitated and renovated while others are being built from scratch to prepare for the swimming season.

In April 2019, executive mayor Clr Mzwandile Masina officially handed over a beautiful swimming pool to the community of Eden Park, while the Duduza Swimming Pool is still under construction.

The metro has resolved to keep designated community pools open for the upcoming festive season.
