Woman allegedly bitten during attack

Primrose police apprehended a man from the Delport informal settlement on a charge of domestic violence.

A Delport informal settlement woman opened a case of domestic violence against her 35-year-old boyfriend, after he allegedly attacked her.

“The victim claimed she was at home when the suspect arrived and began accusing her of cheating,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

“She did not respond to his accusations in the hope of avoiding a fight.

“This reportedly did not work and the accused allegedly slapped and bit her.”

Using the description given by the victim police were able to trace and arrest the suspect, last Thursday.

He has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
