People from all over the world celebrated the 10th anniversary of Mandela Day on July 18.
Staff from Emperors Palace did their 67 minutes to help change the world by visiting the Matthew Ukhozi Foundation in Reiger Park, Boksburg.
The children received a meal and spent time having their faces painted and playing with the staff members.
In addition, each child received a beanie, scarf and gloves to keep them warm this winter and a toy, while a team from the resort and casino did maintenance work at the organisation’s premises prior to Mandela Day.
A donation of linen, books, toys and videos was also handed over.
