The inaugural Majestic Night Market hosted at the Majestic Garden Centre got off to a splendid start last Friday, as patrons gathered to let their hair loose and enjoy a fun night out.
Other than getting the community together, the market served as a fund-raiser for the Lambton Klip Sector Four CPF (LKCPF).
Locals such as Nzunza Mahlangu popped by the market to get a few necessities for his pet snake, Red.
Jordan Engelbrecht used the market as an opportunity to spend time with Loki, a bearded dragon living at SaveMe Reptile Rescue Centre, sponsored by his family.

āWe want to bring back the culture of letting loose on Fridays, by creating a space where there is all types of fun available for the entire family,ā said Ilonka Nel, founder of SaveMe Reptile Rescue Centre , and one of the market organisers.
The market promised entertainment for the entire family and lived up to the expectation.
There was a childrenās zone with an array of games to be played, and various treats such as milkshakes and pancakes.
āWe endeavour to be different from other markets and to achieve this we listen to what the market goers hope to see at our markets.
āWe want to cater for everyone in the community, it is tough, but fun work.ā
