Katlehong SAPS acting station commander Col Doctor Sibuyi thanked the officers from the station’s Crime Prevention Unit for the efforts they’ve made in crime prevention.

Officers arrested five suspects during a stop-and-search operation, last Tuesday.
The accused were arrested for several different crimes.
Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, theft, fraud and house break-in.
All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for a number of different reasons.

“I hope these arrests will encourage the team and that outstanding criminal cases will soon be resolved,” said Sibuyi.
