The Primrose police arrested 16 suspects between April 4 and 10.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.
The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included rape, domestic violence, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, intimidation, driving under the influence of alcohol, shoplifting, house break-in and theft.
The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
