The Primrose police were called to the scene of an alleged murder in the Makause informal settlement, last Sunday.
“When officers arrived on scene they found an 18-year-old woman lying on her back, with marks around her neck.

“Paramedics on scene declared the woman dead,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
The police are appealing to anyone who might have witnessed the crime, or who may have information that will lead police to the arrest of the perpetrator, to come forward
