In addition to the successful Easterns Cricket League fixtures, the club celebrated the selection of one of its members, Crouse, for the Easterns Cricket League T20 Tournament (known as the Battle of the Roses).

“This is a yearly tournament hosted by the Easterns Cricket League,” explained Grobler.

“The tournament is only open to players who have been selected by Easterns.

“This is the first time a player from our club has been selected for something like this. We at the club are very proud of him and wish him well for the tournament.”
