While busy with their duties in the Primrose Police Station’s charge office recently, officers were approached by a woman.

“She claimed she had been threatened by a man with a knife, just outside the station on Poppy Road,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
Police went outside where they reportedly found the 22-year-old man, who was allegedly still holding the knife.
He was arrested and charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and detained.

He has since appeared at the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
