Ithembelihle Lsen School thrilled with donation

Garden of Lights event raises money for worthy causes.

As has become customary after the festive season Emperors Palace donated proceeds from the Garden of Lights to charity.

This year, as part of the resort and casino’s 20th birthday celebrations 20 worthy causes selected by 20 Emperors Palace employees, were among the recipients each receiving a R10 000 donation.

Ann Gradidge (Emperors Palace human resources manager) handed over a cheque to Yanam Munian, who was representing Ithembelihle Lsen School based in Primrose East, at Emperors Palace recently.

Apart from the R200 000 given to these 20 charities a further R350 000 each was donated to the Peermont Education and Peermont Children’s Trusts, while another R400 000 will be donated to the Reach for a Dream Foundation.
