Seventy-two years of wedded bliss celebrated
Primrose couple have been happy for 72 years.
Johannes (95) and Connie (92) van Heerden celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary on February 8.
They spent the first four years of their married life in Randfontein before moving to Johannesburg, where they have lived ever since.
They are presently living at Elandsvallei Home for the Aged in Primrose.
The couple has four children, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
They attribute their long and happy marriage to the blessing and goodness of God, and the fact that they have always treated each other with love, respect and appreciation.
