In an effort to curb crime in Katlehong and increase police visibility, the Katlehong SAPS conducted a stop-and-search operation last Thursday.
During the operation, carried out by members of the Katlehong Police Crime Prevention Unit and detectives from the Katlehong Police Station, eight suspects were nabbed.

The suspects were arrested for various offences.
Charges included pointing of a firearm, possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle, shoplifting and common assault.
All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
