Katlehong local wins two categories at Man of the Year Awards

Youth mentor Ntokozo Mwelase was rewarded for his dedication to youth empowerment and leadership skills.

Ntokozo Mwelase, founder of The Future Shapers Foundation, charged to the stage with excitement, twice, at the Man of the Year Awards held in November, last year, to accept his awards.

The Katlehong local was the only nominee who won more than one award and the only entrant who was nominated in three categories.

The first category announced was the Youth Award, which Ntokozo won, making him the first winner to walk up onto the stage to say his acceptance speech.

He also won the Leadership Award.

“Though I did not win the Man of the Year title, I am very appreciative of the support shown to me and my organisation,” he said.

“I am humbled to be rewarded for simply doing what I love.”
